Sevda Abaci-Magotch

Studio Director

Sevda Abaci-Magotch earned her Associates degree in Humanities and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Drama from New York University. She holds a law degree from Rutgers School of Law and was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1991. Sevda's passion for the arts was sparked at the age of four when she attended her first Broadway show. Since then, she has been involved in the production of numerous plays and musicals and has attended hundreds of productions in countless venues from community theatre to Broadway. Sevda's greatest desire is to pass her love and appreciation for the arts to children and to inspire them to always live their dreams.


Amanda Magotch Cain

Studio Director/Artistic Director/Instructor/

X-Team Choreographer

Amanda entered the doors of her first dance studio at the age of four and hasn’t stopped dancing since. She came alive on the stage at the age of seven when she began dancing competitively. Since then, Amanda has achieved enormous regional and national success in the competitive circuit. As a dancer and performer specializing in lyrical, ballet, jazz, musical theatre, and acro-dance, she has performed on numerous stages and venues throughout the country including Walt Disney World, South Street Seaport, Six Flags, Paper Mill Playhouse, Madison Square Garden, John Harms Center for the Performing Arts and Universal Studios. Amanda was accepted into the School of American Ballet's summer program on scholarship at the age of 9. She began attaining recognition in the competition dance world at the age of ten when she was named Junior Miss Footloose and throughout her competitive career she has won numerous titles including Junior Miss Nexstar, Junior Miss Star Systems, Junior Miss Superstar, Junior Miss Dance Rave, Teen Miss Footloose, Teen Miss Beyond the Stars, Judges Choice Awards, Broadway Bound Award, Best Performance Award, 1st Overall Soloist, 1st Overall Duet/Trio, several photogenic awards and placements in the Top 5 at both regional and national competitions. When Amanda wasn't competing, she was thrilled to be working as a model for Capezio Dancewear. She has trained with many master teachers including Shelia Barker, Mia Michaels and Tyce Diorio to name just a few. Amanda has built an excellent reputation as a dance instructor and choreographer. Amanda's choreography has earned a multitude of choreography awards on both a Regional and National level! Her dances have won numerous 1st Overall placements, Entertainment Awards, Impact Awards, Dance Off Championships, and the Stellar Award, which is the highest scoring routine of the competition. Amanda's students have landed spots on the Temple University, the University of Delaware, and the University of Maryland Dance Teams! Miss Amanda earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Mathematics with a concentration in Education from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Amanda's goal is to inspire students to be the best they can be, and "dance from your heart with JOY!". It is an absolute dream come true for Amanda to be able to share her love, passion, and contagious enthusiasm for dance as the owner of Amanda's DanceXtensions!

Jay Martin

Acro/Dance X-Team Choreographer

Jay began his training as a gymnast and segued into dance at the age of twelve. He hasn’t stopped dancing since then and has won numerous national and regional titles and 1st Overall awards. He was one of the first boys to be accepted into, and attend The New Jersey Governor’s School of the Arts on a full scholarship, and also received full scholarships to The Washington School of Ballet and School of American Ballet’s summer intensive programs. Jay was offered the lead role in the National Tour of Cats as Mr. Mistoffelees, and dazzled audiences throughout the world as a dancer, acrobat, and aerial artist for several Royal Caribbean Cruise ships. He has performed at such venues as Madison Square Garden, the Prudential Center, The Grove & the Dolby Theatre in California, where he performed with Miley Cyrus. While living in California, Jay was signed with one of the top dance agencies in the business, MSA Agency.  Jay has been offered leading roles to perform for Tokyo Disney, Disneyland, and Cirque Du Soleil in Las Vegas. His professional credits also include performing for Walt Disney’s Toy Story 3 at the Kodak Theatre, a Reebok Industrial, and starring in an ABC promo commercial. He can be seen in the pilot episode of the WB's Gossip Girl as well as the feature film Gracie starring Elizabeth Shue. Jay has had the privilege of working with prominent choreographers such as Travis Payne and Jimmy Locust, and had the honor of assisting classes taught by legendary Frank Hatchett. Jay has also performed as a backup dancer for Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Ashley Tisdale, Liz Phair and Kristine W. Jay's choreography has won numerous regional and national Overall, Entertainment, Acro Excellence Awards, and Choreography awards. Jay is excited to be choreographing numerous competition routines at ADXT!

Nick Lundquist

Acro/Dance Instructor/X-Team Choreographer

Nick started his dance training at an early age in California and was awarded a full scholarship to Pacific Northwest Ballet. As a member of a competition dance team, he received numerous awards regionally and nationally in solos and group routines. Nick has performed as a dancer, acrobat and aerial artist on many cruises for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and has entertained audiences around the world with his energetic dance style. While working professionally in California, Nick was signed with DDO Artists Agency. His professional accomplishments also include dancing in the Rose Parade, performing for  a Sketchers Industrial, and the National Tour of Moving Out choreographed by Twyla Tharp. Nick has been offered leading roles to perform for Tokyo Disney, Disneyland, and Cirque Du Soleil in Las Vegas. He has trained with choreographers such as Mia Michaels, Mandy Moore, and Terri Best to name a few. Nick is thrilled to be teaching various levels of students at ADXT!​​

Michael Cuomo

Hip Hop Dance Instructor/X-Team Choreographer

Michael has over 20 years of professional, teaching and choreography experience. His choreography has won numerous times on TV, concert, regional and national levels. His specialty is teaching Hip Hop where he uses his creativity of integrating great themes, props and costumes to put on show stopping performances. Mr. Michael has danced for celebrities such as N'Sync and Justin Timberlake and performed at the 2000 MTV VMA's at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City. He has choreographed routines for the NETS and Knicks City Dancers as well as for popular artists including Pink, Christina Aguilera and Ariana Grande to name a few. In 2001, Mr. Michael choreographed a piece for Z100's Jingle Ball concert and for numerous artists at KTU's Beatstock concert. He has had the opportunity to be the Tour Manager for KTU's Tina Ann's "In My Dreams" tour! Mr. Michael can be seen as a judge throughout the competition and convention circuit. We are so excited to have Mr. Michael as a part of our ADXT dance family!


Vanessa Figueroa

Hip Hop Dance Instructor/X-Team Choreographer

Vanessa received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with a minor in Public Relations and Advertising at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA in April 2019. Her training and explorations have allowed her to perform in works created by Jennifer Archibald, Tyce Diorio, Christopher Huggins, Jason McDole, Kiesha Lalama, Garfield Lemonius and more. She is also proud to be the former President of Impulse, the hip-hop club at Point Park University, where she cultivated a safe space for dancers to freely express themselves through Hip-Hop and Jazz funk forms. Vanessa is honored to have experienced opportunities such as performing “Kinex”choreographed by Kiesha Lalama at the Joyce Theatre for the NYC Dance Alliance Foundation in 2018. As well as being accepted into the Cirque Du Soleil dancer database this past Spring 2019! Figueroa continues to dedicate all of her time and energy within in a variety of artistic areas in her life. We are so happy to have Vanessa join our ADXT dance family!


Morgan Stinnett

Ballet/Pointe Instructor

Morgan grew up in Akron, OH. He attended Point Park University and majored in Dance with a Ballet concentration. His professional career started at Texas Ballet Theater before moving to NYC. Morgan has danced for over 20 regional companies and currently freelances as a soloist with Connecticut Ballet, Ballets With a Twist, K/M D/M, CelloPointe, Dances Patrelle and Ajkun Ballet Theatre. He has also performed with Craig Salstein’s (ABT) company Intermezzo Dance and is the Ballet Master for the View Dance Challenge Convention in Canada. Morgan can also be seen in Jordon Matter’s ‘Dancer’s After Dark’ and Kike Calvo’s ‘World of Dances’ for National Geographic. Recently, he was a soloist in the Broadway & Ballet Awards in NYC, performed with Broadway Sings for Pride, was a body double for a new film “Echappe” and was a dancer in the new NYC webseries “Living the Dream”. Last winter, he also performed with Cyndi Lauper in her ‘Home for the Holidays’ show at the Beacon Theater. You can also see him this fall in the new promotional dance film for NYC’s Office of Emergency Management that will be unveiled this September. We are thrilled to have Mr. Morgan as part of our ADXT dance family!



Camila Rodrigues

Ballet/Pointe Instructor

Camila is originally from Volta Redonda, Brazil. Camila is a professional ballet dancer graduated from Escola Estadual de Dança Maria Olenewa (the Rio de Janeiro Municipal Theater Ballet School) and studied two years with the world known Nora Esteves at Centro de Movimento Deborah Colker, both in Rio de Janeiro – Brazil. She also graduated from Joffrey Ballet School in New York City and performed with the Corpo de Baile do Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro in Brazil and in the United States she has performed with companies such as Nashville Ballet, Connecticut Ballet, Joffrey Ballet Concert Group, Lotería Performing Arts and Ziriguidum. Camila won first place in the Semi Final in New York and in the Final in Canada at World Ballet Art Competition in 2016 and won “Best Interpretation of the Contemporary Compulsory” at Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition in New York in 2017. She also participated in short film and music videos, beside other projects. We are thrilled to have Miss Camila as part of our ADXT dance fam!
