Sevda Abaci-Magotch

Studio Director/Co-Owner

Sevda Abaci-Magotch earned her Associates degree in Humanities and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Drama from New York University. She holds a law degree from Rutgers School of Law and was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1991. Sevda's passion for the arts was sparked at the age of four when she attended her first Broadway show. Since then, she has been involved in the production of numerous plays and musicals and has attended hundreds of productions in countless venues from community theatre to Broadway. Sevda's greatest desire is to pass her love and appreciation for the arts to children and to inspire them to always live their dreams.

Michael Cuomo

Co-Owner/ Hip Hop Dance Instructor/X-Team Choreographer

Michael has over 20 years of professional, teaching and choreography experience. His choreography has won numerous times on TV, concert, regional and national levels. His specialty is teaching Hip Hop where he uses his creativity of integrating great themes, props and costumes to put on show stopping performances. Mr. Michael has danced for celebrities such as N'Sync and Justin Timberlake and performed at the 2000 MTV VMA's at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City. He has choreographed routines for the NETS and Knicks City Dancers as well as for popular artists including Pink, Christina Aguilera and Ariana Grande to name a few. In 2001, Mr. Michael choreographed a piece for Z100's Jingle Ball concert and for numerous artists at KTU's Beatstock concert. He has had the opportunity to be the Tour Manager for KTU's Tina Ann's "In My Dreams" tour! Mr. Michael can be seen as a judge throughout the competition and convention circuit. 

Amanda Magotch Cain

Co-Owner/Artistic Director/Instructor/

X-Team Choreographer

Amanda entered the doors of her first dance studio at the age of four and hasn’t stopped dancing since. She came alive on the stage at the age of seven when she began dancing competitively. Since then, Amanda has achieved enormous regional and national success in the competitive circuit. As a dancer and performer specializing in lyrical, ballet, jazz, musical theatre, and acro-dance, she has performed on numerous stages and venues throughout the country including Walt Disney World, South Street Seaport, Six Flags, Paper Mill Playhouse, Madison Square Garden, John Harms Center for the Performing Arts and Universal Studios. Amanda was accepted into the School of American Ballet's summer program on scholarship at the age of 9. She began attaining recognition in the competition dance world at the age of ten when she was named Junior Miss Footloose and throughout her competitive career she has won numerous titles including Junior Miss Nexstar, Junior Miss Star Systems, Junior Miss Superstar, Junior Miss Dance Rave, Teen Miss Footloose, Teen Miss Beyond the Stars, Judges Choice Awards, Broadway Bound Award, Best Performance Award, 1st Overall Soloist, 1st Overall Duet/Trio, several photogenic awards and placements in the Top 5 at both regional and national competitions. When Amanda wasn't competing, she was thrilled to be working as a model for Capezio Dancewear. She has trained with many master teachers including Shelia Barker, Mia Michaels and Tyce Diorio to name just a few. Amanda has built an excellent reputation as a dance instructor and choreographer. Amanda's choreography has earned a multitude of choreography awards on both a Regional and National level! Her dances have won numerous 1st Overall placements, Entertainment Awards, Impact Awards, Dance Off Championships, and the Stellar Award, which is the highest scoring routine of the competition. Amanda's students have landed spots on the Temple University, the University of Delaware, the University of Maryland, UMass Amherst, Rowan University and Salve Regina University Dance Teams! Miss Amanda earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Mathematics with a concentration in Education from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Amanda's goal is to inspire students to be the best they can be, and "dance from your heart with JOY!". It is an absolute dream come true for Amanda to be able to share her love, passion, and contagious enthusiasm for dance.

Cici Crosby

Hip Hop/Acro/Dance Instructor

CiCi Crosby, a New Jersey native, graduated Montclair State University with a BFA in performance and choreography in May of 2021. In the same month, she had choreographed and premiered her first dance film titled “The Killer Series.” Beforehand, she had attended Somerset County Vocational & Technical High School and Complexity Dance Center where she furthered her studies in the company & competition dance worlds. With a wide range of knowledge in the dance & gymnastics fields, as well as equal passion for performing, teaching, and choreographing, she has enjoyed the honor of sharing her versatility with the youth of the dance world. Crosby has now been teaching and choreographing for the dancers of Q Dynamics Dance Company in the styles of contemporary, jazz, acro, modern, hip hop, pom/drill team, and recreational gymnastics since 2020 as well as coaching the Gantry competitive gymnastics team in Brooklyn, New York since 2022. She also had the privilege of dancing for the New York Riptide Lacrosse team in 2022 & 2023. Cici continues to pursue her performance, teaching, and choreography careers today. We are thrilled to have Miss Cici be a part of the ADXT dance family!
