ADXT Studio Policies
An annual, non-refundable fee of $25 is required at registration. Once the registration fee is paid and the payment plan is set up, registration is confirmed and your child's place is held in the class.
Payment plans are arranged with each individual family. Tuition may be paid by cash, check or credit card if it is paid in 2-3 installments. If paying in 10 monthly installments, a credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) must be held on file and credit cards will be automatically charged by the 15th of each month. Although the number of classes per month varies, tuition remains the same each month. Tuition is based on full season which runs from September-May. A 10 month payment plan may be arranged for your convenience only and the last two payments are due together by May 15th. Our bills are sent via email. Payments are due by the 15th of each month. A $35 returned check fee will be charged to your account for any checks that are returned from your bank. A student cannot participate in recital if there is a balance remaining on the account.
Withdrawal and Refunds
You must contact the studio in writing one month prior to your upcoming tuition payment in order to discontinue. If you choose to withdraw, you are still responsible for the tuition payment that is due within 30 days of your written withdrawal. If you are on a monthly payment plan, you will automatically be billed for tuition due within 30 days from date of written notice whether or not your child attends class. There are no refunds for withdrawals after February 15th. If a student withdraws after February 15th, the account on file will be charged for the balance of the entire annual tuition. There are no refunds for missed lessons or closings due to inclement weather. Registration and tuition payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
There will be no refunds and/or deductions for missed lessons or cancellations due to inclement weather. In the event of a State mandated closure such as what occurred with the Covid-19 pandemic OR ANY CLOSURE THAT IS BEYOND OUR CONTROL, VIRTUAL CLASSES WILL BE CONDUCTED IN LIEU OF IN-STUDIO CLASSES. TUITION IS NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE.
Recital and Costume Fees
ADXT runs on a September-May season which culminates in a recital at the end of May. It is assumed that all dancers will be participating in recital unless we are notified in writing by November 15th. All families are charged one $45 recital fee which includes the recital DVD. Tickets are sold online in April via Tututix.com/dancextensions. Seats are numbered and every person entering the auditorium must purchase a ticket.
Recital costumes deposits of $75 will be billed on November 15th and are non-refundable. If there is a costume balance, the balance must be paid prior to receiving the costume.
ADXT generally follows the Florham Park school system with regards to studio closings and closings due to inclement weather. Please check the website (dancextensions.com) for pertinent information and school closings. Cancellations will also be posted on Facebook and Instagram. (Please note that the studio is not responsible for making up classes due to inclement weather.)
**Parents are responsible to attain the policies from the studio. Ignorance of policies is not an excuse for noncompliance.**
